Budapest Hungary’s Fabulous Le Meridien Hotel

Budapest Hungary’s Fabulous Le Meridien Hotel

For those of you who love Prague, Paris or London Budapest will blow your mind away. Be sure to stay for more than two nights, I’d say four nights is the minimum. I left after three nights and could have easily explored for another day or two.  Some info to know…. For starters, there are two sides of the city Buda and Pest, divided by the river. Most of the hotels are in the city center on the Buda side, close to the business district. However, more of the local off-the-beaten path scene is across the bridge on the Pest side.  The Budapest night life is on both sides of the bridge and a great scene!

Le Meridien Budapest Szalloda – For loyal Starwood members (such as myself) or a traveler looking for a high-end, luxurious, conveniently located hotel this is the spot for you. It is by far the most luxurious Starwood property I’ve been fortunate to visit (I still have staying at a St. Regis property on my wish list).  The hotel is traditionally decorated with impeccable service, food & desserts. Those with a sweet tooth, be sure to visit their well-known dessert cart (shown below) which I can attest was delicious.  If you want something larger than the traditional room I highly recommend a Business Suite. I stayed in a corner Business Suite which was roomy and comfortably accommodated three adults very comfortable.  ErzsĂŠbet tĂŠr 9-10, 1051 Budapest, Hungary.
