Green Lake Park In Seattle Washington
One of the best spots to see while visiting Seattle is Green Lake Park . It’s in North Seattle in the Green Lake neighborhood. Many locals enjoy this park for outdoor activities and enjoying the beautiful scenery and water front access. The circumference of the lake is approximately 3 miles which makes for a perfect 40 minute or so walk which is typically what my sister and I do when visiting Green Lake Park.
Fun things to do at Green Lake include the below. This is definitely an amazing kid and adult friendly destination!
- Walk or run
- Bicycle
- Windsurf
- Paddleboarding
- Sail
- Paddleboat
- Play in the amazing kid’s playground
- Play sports in the various fields
- Enjoy the kid’s wading pool
There’s also a Starbucks that my sister and I usually swing by before beginning our Green Lake adventures. The Green Lake Starbucks is at 7100 East Green Lake, on the corner of 71st Street. This Starbucks also has a roof terrace which is amazing on a gorgeous Seattle day!
I hope you enjoy Green Lake as much as I do. Happy adventures! Green Lake, Seattle Washington.
