Uluwatu Bali’s Hidden Valley Resort

As I was planning where to stay in Uluwatu, Bali I decided to try a younger more relaxed resort vs. a stuffy hotel.   After lots of research on Trip Advisor and Booking.Com I discovered Hidden Valley Resort. It had awesome cool private bungalows, which I fell in love with upon seeing online. It also offered great amenities such as three pools, breakfast included with the room rate, and various options for sports (such as Surf & Paddle boarding….). I ended up learning to surf while staying here with their fabulous Surf Instructor Dave which you can read about on my Ulutawu Other Must Do’s!

As soon as I arrived I knew I had picked the perfect spot for my stay in Uluwatu. I quickly met the fabulous staff at the hotel, one of the owners and other solo travelers staying at the Resort. Before I knew it I had a new friend Marte. She was Norwegian (where my mother’s side of the family is and I’ve frequented many times) so we were fast friends. She had been in Bali a week or so already so quickly gave me the scoop and before I knew it I had settled in and was LOVING Uluwatu. Jl.Nabor 29, Pecatu – Uluwatu, Kuta Selatan – Badung – Bali.
