AFTERNOON TEA WITH WEDGWOOD

As a Chicago native whenever I visit I try to experience as many of the fun tourist experiences as possible to share with my readers. During a recent visit, I had the pleasure of experiencing The Langham Chicago’s Afternoon Tea With Wedgwood. Embracing The Langham’s classic heritage, the Pavilion offers guests its signature afternoon tea, The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, recalling the grandeur of the original hotel, The Langham, London, where the tradition was born.

“Pavilion is home to The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, the traditional afternoon tea that first debuted at The Langham, London in 1865. Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood includes proprietary Langham teas, and an array of sweet and savory bites. All are served with traditional displays and flourish, accompanied by live music—blending together to create a relaxing and pampering afternoon diversion. To finish, order a glass of champagne and toast to the perfect afternoon tea time.” The cost is $65 per person , $30 per child 12 & under excluding tax and gratuity.

The afternoon tea cuisine is created by Executive Chef Anthony Zamora and Executive Pastry Chef Scott Green who have collaborated on an afternoon tea menu to die for. Guests get to enjoy the seasons finest ingredients and enjoy a delightful afternoon, sipping on tea from our exclusive collection.
