Earlier this month, I was invited to join Total Wine for their new Mountain View opening party. I mean, of course I said yes to this invite, you know how much I love wine. And, it gave me an excuse to head down to Mountain View and see a dear friend of mine, Jackie, her amazing kids Jack, Wyatt, and Cooper, and her husband, John. Sleepover time in the burbs after the fun Total Wine party.

My first stop was, of course, the Wine Bar where they were pouring a variety of wines and champagne. The perfect start to any party if you ask me!

I’m obsessed with this pink box. Quite possibly the cutest Champagne Gift I can imagine giving or receiving.

Cheers to this opening party with delicious wines, a great team, and lots of local neighbors sharing their restaurant eats with the guests.

Enjoying a tour of the store with the Total Wine Mountain View General Manager, Ed Fabian. Of course I was curious about their high-end wine selection, so we visited the highest end wine offerings in the store.  Fun fact, Total Wines are the largest purchaser at Premier Napa Valley which is why their assortment of limited hard to find high end wines is so incredible!

As a consumer, I like how this store is set up. It showcases highly rated wines for the shopper to help along the decision making process. I also loved seeing some of my friends wines here, such as, Frank Family Vineyards (read about their winery here) and Duckhorn (read about their winery here), both wineries I adore and really enjoy drinking.

The Wine Spectator’s highly rated section. As someone who reads this magazine regularly, this also makes my shopping much easier.

I love 21st Amendment Beer and think this display is adorable showcasing the founders.

Another awesome San Francisco based brewery. It is always fun to taste the Anchor Brewing Company beers.
