Wine & Spirits Top 100 San Francisco Tasting 2017

The Wine & Spirits Top 100 was become an event that I mark in my calendar months ahead as it’s a great way to see many of my wine industry friends as well as get to know some new winemakers I may not have tasted or been familiar with. See this year’s 2017 Wine & Spirits Top 100 San Francisco Tasting below. This was an especially meaning ful event as it was a week after the California North Bay fires hit so coming together with other wineries and industry members felt extremely special during this time to show our support and love for those impacted in Napa, Sonoma and other regions of the North Bay.

The Louis Roederer Rose is always one of my favorite Rose’s and this 2011 impressed as always. The Louis Roederer et Philippe Starck Champagne was also nice, extremely dry and fresh due to the Brut Nature winemaking style.

This was my first time tasting Radio-Coteau and it will certainly not be my last. This Savoy Chardonnay was mind blowing. Super rich, creamy and lovely yet perfectly balanced with subtle coo climate acid.

SO great to see winemaker Josh Bergrstom of Bergstrom Wines. This was another Chardonnay I had that was beyond amazing. I am heading to Oregon this summer (crossing my fingers) and this is just one of the amazing wineries I hope to visit and get to know better…

So great seeing the Red Car team. This is a Sebastapol tasting room that I adore. Read more about Red Car’s Tasting Room here and plan a visit soon!
