A16 Rockridge – This Father’s Day, A16 is offering the East Bay a delicious feast for dads. On top of hearty selections including Porcini Pizza and Bone-in Ribeye with black-eyed peas, cherry tomato, and herb salad, A16’s Executive Chef Rocky Maselli will serve a Dad’s Deluxe Entrée with fritto, anchovy, gulf prawns, and squash blossoms. Ajanta  On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, Ajanta Restaurant in Berkeley will be open for lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and for dinner from 5:30 to 9:00 PM serving the regular a la carte menus plus a $28.50 Chef’s Tasting Menu for dinner with three appetizers, four main dishes, sides of rice, naan bread, chutneys and pickles, and a choice of desserts. The appetizers could include Tandoori Scallops, Tandoori Chicken Chaat and Chicken Samosa. The main dishes might be Chicken Mulligatawney, Lamb Rib Chops, Green Fish Curry and Baadal Jaam. Desco Oakland On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, Desco in Old Oakland will be seating from 3:00 to 9:00 PM serving their regular a la carte menu plus a $42.00 three-course prix fixe tasting menu with thinly sliced certified Piedmontese beef carpaccio with olive pesto and Parmigiano-Reggiano; Sicilian peperoncino and housemade tagliolini with braised radicchio, lamb and San Marzano sugo, and sage infused oil; and dark chocolate and bourbon semifreddo with black figs compote. 499 9th Street, Oakland CA 94607. 510.663.9000. 

District Oakland On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, District in Old Oakland will be serving brunch from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM with an all you can eat breakfast buffet and a bottomless Mimosa for $35.00 ($22.00 for just the buffet). Children ten years of age and under can enjoy the buffet for $10.00. Menu highlights will include buttermilk pancakes with banana-rum syrup, scrambled eggs with cheese, steel-cut oatmeal with bourbon vanilla brown sugar, house made spicy chicken sausage, biscuits and sawmill gravy, chipotle-garlic breakfast potatoes, fried sweet plantains with house salsa, cheddar grits, and chocolate chip bread pudding with bourbon caramel. Homestead Oakland –  On Father’s Day, June 21, Homestead in Oakland will be open from 4:30 to 9:00 PM serving a $55.00 three-course prix fixe prime rib dinner with a Little Gem salad with roasted garlic vinaigrette and levain croutons; prime rib with horseradish salsa verde, roasted potatoes and greens; and summer berry pie with vanilla ice cream. plank  Show your appreciation for the main man in your life with plank’s “Celebrate Your Dad” event this Father’sDay.
