Massachusetts: Martha’s Vineyard Where To Stay

Where to Stay in Martha’s Vineyard Massachusetts.

As long as I lived on the East Coast (11 years) I had always heard amazing things about Martha’s Vineyard (M.V.).  After 10 years I finally had a chance to go visit and it was even better than I could have ever imagined. The town is super charming, quaint, preppy, at a nice chill speed. You do not feel like you’re on East Coast speed, there are very few New Yorker’s there, which is part of the charm, and it’s very North East with its charm and very nice people.

Harbor View Hotel& Resort  – Although I didn’t stay here we had a lovely brunch here with amazing views of the waterfront and I had a friend stay here who highly recommended it. It has a very nice lobby as well as main restaurant, Water Street as well and a great pool for the hotel guests. 131 North Water Street. Edgartown, MA. 02539. 800-225-6005.

Vineyard Square Hotel – This was a perfect hotel for our needs. It was right in the center of town and we had a two bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen/bar area. The room and hotel were in excellent condition and they had very nice staff who were super accommodating and helpful. They also had the BEST Salt Water Taffy I’ve ever had (I didn’t even really like it till I tried theirs) which is made by Taffy Town.  38 North Water Street. Edgartown, MA. 02539. 508-627-4711.
